AgGPS TrueTracker Implement Steering system

The new AgGPS® TrueTracker™  is an implement steering system that works with the Trimble

The TrueTracker system will keep implements pulled by tractors using the Autopilot RTK automated steering system on the same path, even on extreme slopes.

The TrueTracker system consists of an implement-mounted GPS receiver and T3™ terrain compensation technology. A single display in the tractor communicates path information to the implement, instantly adjusting steerable coulters. The Tracker IV implement guidance system from Orthman® Manufacturing Incorporated of Lexington, Nebraska effectively steers the implement controlled by the TrueTracker implement steering system.

Features and benefits

The TrueTracker Implement Steering system:

·    Separate roll correction for the vehicle and the implement result in a more accurate position for the vehicle (reducing crop damage) and for the implement.  RTK accuracy for all field applications and all terrain is a reality.

·    A single in-cab display is used to manage the set-up and controls the system, avoiding cluttering the cab with multiple displays.

·    Separate calibration and trim adjustments allows the implement to be adjusted independent of the tractor for greater control across all applications.

·    Multiple Guidance patterns such as straight, curves and center pivots work with TrueTracker to deliver unmatched repeatability.

·    Individual steering control for the vehicle and implement: the Orthman implement steering control steers and drives the implement; this provides the full system more control of the positioning of the vehicle and the implement, resulting in RTK precision for both the implement and vehicle.
