AgGPS® Autopilot
The AgGPS® Autopilot is a steering assistant that connects to your tractor's hydraulic power steering system and automatically steers the tractor for perfectly straight rows. Simply engage the AgGPS Autopilot and oversee its operation-operators can drive straight rows all day, ensure minimum overlaps and have more time for infield applications such as listing, planting, and cultivating. Because it is completely automated, the AgGPS Autopilot can work hour after hour, with the same consistent, high accuracy performance. At the heart of the system is the AgGPS navigation controller complete with safety monitoring features. The system includes a lightbar for visual guidance, an in-cab terminal for field operation, and a choice of precise GPS receivers, offering Real-time Kinematic (RTK), Omnistar HP/XP or Differential GPS (DGPS) receiver to meet the needs of your budget. The AgGPS Autopilot is compatible with both the FmX Integrated Display and the EZ-Guide 500.
The NavII controller senses roll, pitch and yaw to great improve accuracy on rough terrain.The controller has three accelerometers and three gyroscopes to take these measurements. Be cautious of other systems which may only have one accelerometer or only one gyroscope because these system will not steer your vehicle as accurately.
