Air Clutch Facts
-
The low cost Tru Count Air Clutch
is placed on each row and is controlled pneumatically from
your tractor cab through a GPS or manual controller.
-
Since each row has its own clutch, you
may divide your planter into as many sections as you wish.
Example: A 12 row planter can be divided into 12, 6,
4, 3, or 2 sections.
-
The size of your sections depends
strictly on the configuration of your air valves.
Examples: A 12 row planter with 4 air valves = four 3
row sections.
A 16 row planter with 4 air valves = four 4 row sections.
-
The clutches are instantly activated and
deactivated with the flip of a switch or a signal from your
GPS unit.
-
No lag time on stop or startup of
clutches.
-
Tru Count Air Clutches work
equally well on vacuum, air, or mechanical units. On vacuum
or air planters, air flow is not affected.
-
The Air Clutch System is
expandable by adding valves at any time to change the size
and number of sections controlled.
-
Minimal maintenance: just spray 1 shot of
silicone spray through the lube port approximately every 100
hours.
-
Air Clutches work on all planters,
regardless of make or model (except Cyclo).
-
Easy installation (about 5-10 minutes per
row).
NO PLANTER MODIFICATION REQUIRED!

ON CORN ACRES YOUR PLANTER IS
PLANTING 12-20 SEEDS PER SECOND PER ROW.
That’s about 50¢
per second for a 12 row planter. The
Tru Count Air Clutch System virtually eliminates double
planting.
You can eliminate this unnecessary input cost.
The Tru Count Air Clutch may be controlled
with GPS signal.
Use the Tru Count Air
Clutch System:
-
To shut off rows on waterways, whether
they're angled or straight
-
On square end rows—use the ALL STOP button to
shut off the entire planter before raising
-
On angled end rows—shut off in sequence
-
On point rows—save big by not double
planting these irregular rows
-
For HUGE savings on contour planting
Since the Air Clutch virtually eliminates
double planting, you save seed cost, lodging, and reduced yields.
Typically, the Tru Count Air Clutch will
pay for itself in seed savings alone within the first year.
